Cat-titude

Sit up straight, mind your tail
Don’t let it flop, retract your nails
Put your whiskers into place
Now watch and learn to groom your face

To wash your paws, the basic rule
Don’t try to make a bad cat-ttoo
Lift you heads, for cat’s sake
Be a cat, don’t be afraid

To walk like one, we’re elegant
Not like some clumsy elephant
Put your paws in one straight line
And let the rest follow behind

Ears are meant for displaying
Not proper for them to go hiding
Prick them up, now that’s better
Make sure you get the correct angle

Now, now, don’t arch your spine
It makes you look like a porcupine
Fur well arranged is one step ahead
Don’t experiment, it’s a big mistake

You kittens these days, lack cat-tiquette
When I was young, I was complimented
On having such good cat-titude
Now, kittens are just so rude.
